Inventory of Children's Activities (ICA)

The following pages contain the ICA developed by Terence J. G. Tracey, a faculty member at Arizona State University.

The ICA is a questionnaire intended to provide information about one's interests and competencies is a wide variety of areas but specifically for younger individuals. It can be used by children as young as 9 years old but also for all ages older.

The instrument has good psychometric support (see Tracey, T. J. G, & Ward, C. (1998), The structure of children's interests and competence perceptions, Journal of Counseling Psychology, 45, 290-303.).

If you wish to take the ICA, please click the button below. You will be able to take part of the instrument and come back at another time if you wish. Your scores will be saved so that you can access them in the future and so that we may be able to look at group characteristics of the instrument. There will be no examination or publication of individual responses, only group responses. Your participation is voluntary and you can withdraw at any time. All information is confidential.
